1) College degree preferably in a life science discipline or equivalent experience
2) Valid driver?s license
3) Personal vehicle for purposes of making local sales calls
4) 2 years of technical sales experience in the biotech, medical device or pharmaceutical industry with a proven sales history of growth and success
5) Experience in sales and making presentations
6) Knowledge of principles and practices of sales, customer service principles and basic business principles
7) Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
8) Familiar with company policies and procedures and present a professional image as a company ambassador
9) Persuasiveness, adaptability, resilience, stress tolerance and goal-driven
10) Energetic and enthusiastic about the job
11) Demonstrate good business judgment
12) Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets

Job Description
Partial Job Description 1) Sell the company?s products and services in the assigned territory to meet or exceed the revenue plan 2) Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual planned sales for the region 3) Generate and qualify leads 4) Grow company revenue through field and phone sales calls 5) Manage accounts in Southern Germany and Austria 6) Direct responsibility for key account management and new account development within the specified region 7) Ensure monthly reports to the Director of Sales, Germany or designee 8) Make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients 9) Negotiate with clients 10) Develop sales proposals and present sales contracts 11) Maintain sales activity records and reports 12) Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships 13) Follow up on sales activity 14) Monitor sales activities and follow up for management 15) Monitor competitors, market conditions and product development 16) Assist with or perform presentations and workshop instruction at company held training courses and customer specific training courses as required 17) Held self education on current market trends and competitive products 18) Ensure education of clients in all instrumentation, LAL methods and proper laboratory techniques 19) Meet assigned objectives 20) Participate in sales events 21) Negotiate pricing and write quotations within the guidelines of company policy 22) Operate within the company approved expense budget 23) Develop region?s sales forecast and expense budget as required 24) Ensure provision of customer feedback and information internally to support new business development 25) Maintain a customer database 26) Source and develop client referrals 27) Prepare sales action plans and schedules
